The picture runestone from Sjonhems Kyrka is one of the most beautiful picture runestones in Gotland.
This runestone is one of the Varangian runestones. He reports from the same family as the stones G 135 and G 136.
The runestone was created in the ornate ornamentation of the Gotlandic rune style in the 11th century.
The colorful, mushroom-shaped picture stone tells of a warrior who was treacherously killed by Wallachians while visiting Wallachia.
His inscription reads:
Rodvisl and Rodälv erected the stones after their three sons, this one for Rodfos. When he set out he was betrayed by Wallachians (Romanians).God help Rodfo's soul. God abandoned those who failed him.

The runestone is now in the Historical Museum in Visby (Fornsal).
